Saw a great documentary this afternoon on Radio-Canada (CBC) about people who had tattoos when they were young and that many years later, they wanted to get rid of their tattoo because they did not represent anymore who they were.
Some paid a high price for removing their tattoos, some had laser treatment which is very painfull and the outcome is not guaranted, while others had their tattoo removed surgically with a stay at hospital, some patients who had their tattoos removed surgically also complained that the surgery left a larger scar than they expected.
A single mother told reporters, that when the time comes, she will tell her child to wait until he’s major before getting a tattoo, he will have to think about it and may be, just may be, he won’t regret his decision later.
As far for the employers, many employers have doubts about hiring personnel who have tattoos, because they are afraid that the tattoo will present a bad image of the company, some one even suggested that if some one really wants a tattoo, he should have it somewhere where he can hide it.
The name of the show is : 109 should be available soon on their website.
