On this day in 1940 British Prime Minister Winston Churchill made his famous speech in the House of Commons. The speech was his first to the Commons since becoming Prime Minister on 10th May. He gave the speech during the Battle of France of the Second World War and it provided a great morale boost in the United Kingdom.

“I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears and sweat. We have before us an ordeal of the most grievous kind. We have before us many, many long months of struggle and of suffering.

You ask, what is our aim? I can answer in one word: Victory. Victory at all costs - Victory in spite of all terror - Victory, however long and hard the road may be, for without victory there is no survival”

Does Justin Trudeau the leader of the Liberal Party of Canada have any judgement? After giving a speech at an islamic convention called the Reviving the Islamic Spirit, which was sponsered in part by IRFAN-Canada an organisation who had lost its charity status because it was suspected of having ties with Hamas, and after having said during an interview given to Peter Mansbridge of the CBC on the aftermath of the Boston Marathon bombing:

”We don’t know if it was terrorism, or a single crazy, or a domestic issue or a foreign issue — all those questions. But there is no question that this happened because of someone who feels completely excluded, someone who feels completely at war with innocence, at war with society”.

As if it wasn’t enough, he is now posting a picture of the women of his life, who are wearing hijab and wishing to all mothers in Canada an Happy mother’s day. The picture was taken during a trip in Africa.

Makes me wonder if He is not trying to get the vote of the islamic community which is according to the latest survey, the fastest growing religion in Canada.
